The default seating chart for a location in your course automatically appears when you associate a Calendar event with that location. Every location has its own default seating chart.
The first seating chart you create for a location in your course becomes the default seating chart associated with that location for your course. Creating additional seating charts will not change the default seating chart for a location.
Set default seating charts
On the main Seating Chart page, click on the seating chart, then click Set Default.
